We're a start-up research group at Penn State University in the Department of Biology and part of the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics (CIDD). We're looking to build a strong multidisciplinary group studying the dynamics of diseases.

In human diseases, we will focus on how culture (for example social networks, beliefs about health & medicine etc.) affects disease prevention and transmission. In non-human diseases, we're interested in both the genetic and epigenetic co-evolutionary dynamics of host-parasite interactions in general and population dynamics of wildlife diseases in particular.

If you're interested in joining the group, please find more information on the people page.
